Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and autonomous Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer  to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, customize, and maintain robust ERP solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for enterprise clients and international workflows.

You will own ERP features end-to-end—developing AL extensions, integrating third-party APIs and e-commerce/WMS platforms, and translating client business logic into scalable technical architecture. This is a hands-on developer role where technical precision, modern Business Central extension design patterns, and an automated approach to development are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • AL & ERP Feature Ownership: Design, develop, test, and maintain custom extensions and features in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL language and Visual Studio Code.
  • System Integration & Automation: Build and support seamless integrations connecting Business Central with external systems (e-commerce platforms, CRM, WMS, payment gateways) using REST APIs, OData, and Web Services.
  • Migration & Upgrades: Plan and execute data migrations, environment upgrades, and customizations from legacy NAV/C/AL systems to cloud/on-prem D365 Business Central.
  • Report & Document Development: Create and modify complex Business Central layouts, including RDLC, Word layouts, and Power BI reporting dashboards.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization:Diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize SQL queries, resolve custom AL code conflicts, and ensure system uptime and stability.
  • Technical Collaboration & Client Communication: Build clean review and dashboard interfaces using Tailwind CSS without relying on a dedicated designer.

Technical Requirements

  • Core Technical Stack: Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development, AL Language, Visual Studio Code, and C/AL (legacy NAV exposure).
  • Integration & API Expertise: Strong proficiency with OData, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML handling, and event-driven architecture.
  • Database & SQL Knowledge: Solid background in Microsoft SQL Server, dataset optimization, database schema design, and data migration strategies.
  • Power Platform & Cloud: Familiarity with Azure services, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI integrations with D365 Business Central.
  • DevOps & Version Control: Experience using Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps for source code management, pull requests, and standard CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Nice-to-Have (Skills to Grow Into)

  • Official Microsoft Certification (e.g., MB-800: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant or developer equivalents)
  • E-commerce & Logistics Domain Knowledge (Shopify, Magento, warehouse management, accounting flows, inventory lifecycle).
  • Familiarity with European business rules, VAT/tax compliance, and data privacy regulations (GDPR).
