Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, senior, and autonomous Senior AI Engineer (Full-Stack) to join our team. In this role, you will build and ship AI-powered automation products that eliminate recurring operational tasks for e-commerce and enterprise workflows end-to-end.
You will own features from database to interface—building everything from Shopify and REST API integrations to Claude-driven LLM pipelines and the review dashboards that clients interact with daily. This is a hands-on builder role where comfort with an AI-assisted development workflow (such as Claude Code or similar tools) is expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Ownership: Take a rough project scope and a known stack, and autonomously ship working, production-ready systems.
  • AI/LLM Pipeline Development: Design and implement end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, managing chunking, embeddings, pgvector similarity search, reranking, and grounded answers with source attribution.
  • Full-Stack Engineering: Write strict, maintainable full-stack TypeScript using React/Next.js (App Router) on the frontend and Supabase/PostgreSQL on the backend.
  • Workflow & Integration Automation: Build code-first event-driven architectures and background jobs utilizing event queues/orchestrators (e.g., Inngest, Trigger.dev) with human-in-the-loop approval gates.
  • API Connectors: Build and maintain robust OAuth2 and client-credential API connectors for platforms like Shopify Admin GraphQL, Lightspeed eCom, Akeneo (PIM), and headless CMS platforms.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Build clean review and dashboard interfaces using Tailwind CSS without relying on a dedicated designer.
  • Client Communication: Interface directly with non-technical clients, translating complex engineering structures into plain language.

Technical Requirements

  • Core Stack: Extensive experience with full-stack TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router), and Tailwind CSS.
  • Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in Supabase/PostgreSQL, including schema design, Row Level Security (RLS), Auth, and writing native SQL and Postgres functions.
  • AI & LLM Application Work: Direct, hands-on experience with the Anthropic Claude API (or equivalent), prompt engineering, prompt caching, streaming, tool use, and structured JSON output.
  • RAG Architecture: Proven capability with vector databases, embeddings (Voyage, Cohere, or OpenAI), hybrid search, and metadata filtering.
  • Backend Workflows: Experience with background jobs, retries, concurrency/throttle controls, and fan-out structures
  • DevOps & Deployments: Familiarity with Git/GitHub, template-repo models, per-client-fork workflows, and shipping to Vercel or cloud VPS architectures.

Nice-to-Have (Skills to Grow Into)

  • E-commerce domain knowledge (Shopify catalogs, metafields/metaobjects, SEO, multi-language storefronts).
  • Data privacy regulations (GDPR, anonymization, EU data residency contexts).
  • Security fundamentals (RBAC, encryption at rest, audit logging).
  • OCR/document parsing pipelines for unstructured data ingestion.
