A showroom-led retailer with a catalog that never sits still

Yara’s Home Interior is a Netherlands-based furniture and home decor retailer with a showroom in IJsselstein and a full online store. It carries seating, tables, cabinets, lighting, bedroom and garden furniture, and home accessories, plus made-to-order categories like custom flooring and rugs.

With thousands of active SKUs and constant stock and price changes coming in from multiple suppliers, the business needed an online store that could keep pace with its catalog rather than fight against it.

The rebuilt yarashome.nl storefront shown on homepage, category and product pages

The old site was working against the business

Pages and product listings loaded slowly, which is costly when shoppers compare dozens of similar pieces before deciding. The design felt dated next to competitors and didn’t reflect the curated feel of the showroom.

A modern, fast storefront

Redesign the site with a premium look and fix the slow page and product load times that were hurting conversion.

Confidence before purchase

Let customers see exactly how a product will look in their own space before they buy, with 3D and AR previews.

No more manual uploads

Keep price, stock and description data current across thousands of SKUs from multiple suppliers, automatically.

What we built

Bangladesh Software Solution rebuilt Yara’s Home Interior from scratch on WooCommerce, with nine custom capabilities across the shopping journey and back office.

Finding the right piece

Browsing and discovery across a large catalog.

Category-aware mega menu

Shows product images by category and hides any category with no available stock.

Smart search and on-page filters

Each result shows the product image, brand and price together, so shoppers can compare at a glance.

Reviews with photos and video

Shoppers see earlier buyers’ photos and videos, and can filter reviews by rating and media.

Deciding with confidence

Answering “will this work in my home?”

3D product and floor visualizers

A full 360° view of each product, plus a real-life placement preview. Try the floor demo.

Custom price calculator

Gives an accurate, real-time price for a configured product before the customer commits.

Consultation booking

Customers can book time with the team to talk through a specific product.

Running the store

Operations that used to be manual.

Multi-brand product sync

Price, stock availability and descriptions refresh from each supplier on a recurring schedule.

Email automation and live chat

Automatic emails for failed payments, abandoned carts and order status changes, plus real-time chat support.

Shipping and compliance setup

A complete delivery framework, including fixed-rate and free shipping rules.

Visualizers for products you'd normally want to see in person

Rugs, tiles and flooring were the hardest things to sell online. Pick a finish below to see how the floor visualizer lets shoppers try one in a room.

3D models and AR

A full 360° view of each product, with a real-life placement preview.

Real-scale placement

Customers hold up their phone to the actual spot in their living room and see the product rendered there at true scale.

Your own floor photo

Customers upload a photo of their own floor and overlay the chosen design onto it.

These tools answer "will this actually work in my space?", a question that was previously impossible to answer online.

A storefront built for the catalog, not around it

Yara’s Home Interior now runs on a platform designed for the scale and nature of what it sells.

Faster, modern storefront

Image compression and media optimization fixed slow page and product loads, paired with a premium redesign that reflects the showroom experience.

Real pre-purchase confidence

The 3D and AR previews and the floor photo visualizer let customers evaluate rugs, tiles and flooring before buying, the products that were hardest to sell online.

Zero manual product uploads

The Richmond and De Eekhoorn sync modules keep price, stock and descriptions current across thousands of SKUs, removing the team’s biggest operational bottleneck.

A theme that no longer limits the business

Custom overrides, from the sticky cart fix to the return system, login flow and account dashboard, mean the store does what the business needs, not just what Flatsome ships with.

WooCommerce on a customized Flatsome theme

WooCommerce gave us an extensible, well-supported foundation for a catalog of this scale. Flatsome provided the visual base, which we then rebuilt around the business.
